We start out with conversation over a drink at a nice low key lounge. Then we make our way to dinner, nothing fancy. A nice place with a relaxed vibe and good food. Then we move on to some place with live music and just enjoy each others company as the date continues to flow. Something chilled out and mellow.

My idea of a first date would include a public outing where you can get a good look at your date in a calm but well lit environment. Dinner for 2 is not a bad way to get to know someone. You are more relaxed and can enjoy yourself. Maybe afterwards a walk thru a park or in a downtown area where you can converse freely. Ending of course with plans for a 2nd more exciting date.

It starts with dinner, and it doesn't have to be fancy (I'm fine with diner food. Actually, I love diner food!). We then walk around and keep our conversation going. Maybe stop by an ice-cream place for some dessert. Then we grab a drink somewhere not-too-loud, let loose and talk about the most random things in the world. Then we share a kiss and call it a night.
